- I chose International Paper, and A4 size.
- Image size or ALT+CTRL+I to change the resolution of the image.
- I found a castle wallpaper in the Internet.
- I As you can see in the print screen above, I shows quick selection tool I used it to select the castle.
- When I finish select my castle with selection tool I press CTRL+C to copy and paste on to another A4 size art board.
- The picture above shows how I used brush tool to connect the base of the castle to the end of the bottom left corner of the art board, the brush tool make an effect of rocky hill/mountain or maybe a path to the castle.
- Next I found the picture of a dead tree with spooky branches, my title is Halloween so dead tree branch suit my E-Wallpaper.
- I used the same tool, quick selection tool to select the tree and CRTL+C and paste it to my wallpaper.
- I pasted the dead tree beside the castle.
- I also added a moon behind the castle by using ellipse tool, overall the composition of the castle, tree and moon give a sence of spookiness.
- The picture shows how I used blending options to apply them to my moon.
- I right click at my moon layer, then click 'Blending Options'
- The Blending Options lead to this window, layer style.
- I click on the outer glow to give the effect of a glowing moon, I change the opacity, spread and size.
- In this picture, I added another supportive picture the pumpkin in my wallpaper by using the same quick selection tool to copy and paste in my wallpaper to give a message of Halloween.
- Jack-o-Lantern/pumpkins is the symbol of Halloween.
- Above shows a picture of a witch where I crop it from another wallpaper to act as my supportive picture to my E-Wallpaper.
- I press CTRL+T to create a box around the witch, free transform. You can rotate, re-size, flip and so on to the picture.
- I added typography into my E-Wallpaper.
- I used Vertical Type Tool(T) to type a vertical letter.
- I added more supportive picture in my E-Wallpaper as you can see the picture above.
- I added zombies and grave to indicate the spookiness of this festival.
- In this print screen I added quite a lot of supportive picture like bats, ghost and more pumpkins by using the same old tool, quick selection tool and copy paste to my E-Wallpaper.
- As you can see I change my back color into a darker purple from a lighter purple, the darker purple sky give a look of spooky and mysterious feeling.
- I also change the previous Linear Gradient into Radial Gradient to give the lighting of the moon looks more realistic.
The following picture shows how I created a realistic fog to add the spookiness scenery:
- Firstly, I need to use brush tool to create realistic fog.
- I change the mode to dissolve, opacity 15%, Flow 30%.
- Master Diameter 150px and the hardness 0% as shown above.
- I chose d6d6d6(light grey) as my brush color or you can say the color of my fog.
- To make my fog blurry, I click filter.
- Then Blur.
- After that Gaussian Blur to make my fog effect as shown above.
- I change the Radius of the brush to 14 px as shown above.
- On your bottom right corner got a icon name add layer mask.
- I used layer mask to add gradient to my fog to increase the realistic of the fog.
- And that is my final step of doing my E-Wallpaper.
